If I'm not mistaken, there's a typo in our textbook. PS 5 includes exercise 3 of Section 4.2. This problem references us to exercise 5 of Section 2.3. Once you get there, and do parts a and b, you get to a rather strange statement from Lewis Carroll that asks you to prove that babies cannot manage crocodiles based on the fact that babies are illogical, people who can manage crocodiles are not despised, and illogical people are not despised. This is impossible. The original statement from Lewis Carroll asserts that illogical people ARE despised. With this premise in mind, the statement can be proven.
Please let me know if, after doing the rest of the problems in this problem set, my ability to read english is faltering and I'm somehow misreading the problem. Otherwise, I hope this saves you all some trouble
