How to use the Airy's Equation Tool

Setting Initial Conditions

• Click the mouse on the phase plane to set the initial conditions for a trajectory.

Buttons

• [Airy Cosine] sets the initial conditions for Airy's cosine: x(0) =1, v(0)=0.
• [Airy Sine] sets the initial conditions for Airy's sine: x(0)= 0, v(0)= 1.
• [Clear] removes all trajectories from the graph.
• [Pause] stops a trajectory without canceling it.
• [Continue] resumes the motion of the paused trajectory.
