How to use the Boundary Values: Solvability and Uniqueness Tool

Parameter Sliders

• Use the sliders to choose the values for k and the initial slope, y'(0), that meet the boundary condition.
• Press the mouse down on the slider knob for the parameter you want to change and drag the mouse back and forth, or click the mouse in the slider channel at the desired value for the parameter.

Buttons

• [Clear] removes all the trajectories from the graph.
• [Clear to last] removes all trajectories except the last one drawn.
• [Find nearest solution] displays the graph for the nearest eigenvalue that meets the boundary condition.
