How to use the Matrix Element Input Tool

Matrix Element Values

• Click on an element within the matrix in the lower-left corner of the screen to activate the text editor.
• Type in new values using the right and left arrow keys, delete, and the number keys.
• Press the tab key to move the editing cursor to the next element of the matrix.
• Press the esc or clear keys to delete the number.
• Press return or click the mouse outside the matrix to exit the text editor and set the value.

Setting Initial Conditions

• Click the mouse on the graphing plane to set the initial conditions for a trajectory.

Buttons

• [Clear] removes all trajectories from the xy-graph.
• [Draw Field] draws a grid of vectors over the xy-graph.
