How to use the Critical Damping Tool

Parameter Slider

• Use the slider to set the value of the damping coefficient b.
• Press the mouse down on the slider knob for the parameter and drag the mouse back and forth to change it, or click the mouse in the slider channel at the desired value for the parameter.

Time Series Buttons

• The buttons labeled
  [x]
  [100x]
  set the magnification level for viewing the damping behavior.
