Welcome (again) to the Math 122 e-mail list. The course staff will try our best to keep this list low-volume so that you'll actually read the important announcements we may make. I hope that this will be the longest e-mail you shall receive from us.
SECTIONS will begin this week, and attendance is highly encouraged. Igor will hold sections from 4-5 pm on Thursdays in room 411. Dan will hold sections from 7-8 pm on Thursdays in room 411. Tien Anh will hold sections from 2-3 pm on Fridays in room 322. Each of the CAs will hold office hours following their sections as well as by appointment. This information will be added to the course website.
PROBLEM SETS are to be handed in at the beginning of class on the day that they are due. In some cases, late problem sets may be allowed but only with ADVANCE PERMISSION from the CA who is grading that week's problem set. Tien Anh will grade all problem sets numbered 1 mod 3, Dan will grade the problem sets numbered 2 mod 3, and Igor will grade the problem sets numbered 0 mod 3. I will put this info in the "Announcements" section of the course website.
Finally, I will hold weekly OFFICE HOURS on Sunday nights from 9-10 pm in the Lowell dining hall.
