Dear Students,

I just wanted to remind you about the "Technique Test" that's coming up a week from today: Thursday, October 6, from 7-8pm. Students with last names beginning with the letters A through J will take the test in Science Center Lecture Hall A, the others in Hall D.

The test (more like a quiz) is one hour long and covers the techniques of integration. The relevant sections in the book are 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7.

There will be eight problems on the test, drawn from a pool of 80. Some of them will be definite integrals and some of them will be indefinite integrals. The eligible problems and their solutions are already on the website (click on "Examinations").

The Technique Test will be 10% of your final grade. If you don't like your score on the test, you can take another version next Thursday at the same time. The maximum of the two is the one we will count.
