Math 21a Fall 2003 Mathematica Assignments

 
Hello and welcome to the next Mathematica computer lab!  This one is completely voluntary.  This lab covers level curves, contour maps and gradients (chapter 11 material predominantly) and we're posting it just to give something fun to work through as you start your studying for the final.  To do this lab, you'll just need to download the Mathematica file lab2.nb (Notebook) to get started.  Then do the same thing you did before to run the lab  either on your computer, or in the Science Center. 

Again, there is no assignment due for this lab - it's just to help you during your final review.
To download a Mathematica notebook, click on the link below while holding down the shift key. Save the notebook on your computer and open this notebook in Mathematica. (On a Mac or PC start up Mathematica and read in the file "fall03lab2.nb" like in any other software applications, in Unix (Linux) just type "mathematica fall03lab2.nb" in a x-terminal). This notebook was saved with Mathematica 4.1. It can be used with Mathematica 4.0 also (just ignore the warnings).
