This was shown in a review slide and is a an attempt to make quadrics dance according to music. With three parameters a,b,c, one can look at the quadric

   a x² + b y² + c z² = 1

Now, if we have a path r(t) = (a(t),b(t),c(t)) in the parameter space, this produces a deformation of quadrics.

We have used the frames of a movie as textures to the quadric.
