Puffing vortex rings

Source: BBC.co.uk
With 200 miles per hour, the gas leaves this air gun. A vortex ring forms. The gun has been built by Jem Stansfield. It "huffs and puffs" away houses of straw, sticks and bricks. This youtube movie shows a longer version.

More fun with vortex rings: this movie shows a vortex ring collision.
