| STEP 2: On a PC or Mac, you should be able to click onto the icon
of "lab1.nb" and be ready to start. If this does not work, locate
and start up Mathematica on your computer, read in the file
"lab1.nb". In Unix, just type "mathematica lab1.nb" in a terminal.
|
STEP 2: Open two x-terminals .
In one of them, type "math" to start
up Mathematica. In the other, open the file "lab1.m" with an editor
for example with "vi lab1.m". Paste the lines with Mathematica code
from one terminal to the other. Here is
more information on using Mathematica on FAS (from any computer).
