Midterm evaluations
Course Head: Oliver Knill
Office: SciCtr 434
We read the midterm evaluations. Thanks for all the feedback. Below is a summary.

Textbook:

Some quotes: It's ok. good, very good, complements lectures, decent text, not my favorate ... but it will do. Fair, clear and precise explanations. Explanations need to be more concise, good text, easier to understand than most, excellent, concise, effective, to the point.

Hourly:

Fair. Time was for very few a problem although. Matching problems seemed easier this time.

Homework:

Summary: About the homework load: since 1 form said too much homework and 2 forms said too little homework Anand and Oliver debate whether to double or triple the homework in future. If we can not agree, we leave it as it is.

Reviews:

Video should be earlier on the website.

Practice text

Very helpful.

Lectures:

The lectures were voted effective to very effective.

Website:

Everybody seems happy about the website.
