Dear students,

some of you asked me where you can read the material that we covered so far. You can find most of what I said in class in the introduction of the book "calculus" by Tom Apostol (pag 11-21). The book should be in the library, on reserve.
Also, if you don't understand something, or you have any specific question, you should talk either to me, or to your CA's, or to you classmates. Try not to leave anything behind, since the most important thing is that you follow and understand everything I say in class. After that the problem sets will be much easier! (and you'll learn much more!)
