Honors Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra

Course Description:

A rigorous treatment of topics such as topology, some algebra, linear algebra, real analysis and more advanced topics such as differential equations, Fourier analysis and maybe some functional analysis.

There will also be an emphasis on learning how to understand and write proofs.

Course Prerequisites:

The course will be pretty self-contained so there are no prerequisites, although some familiarity with calculus (what is a function?) and algebra (what is a group?) would help. There will on the other hand be a lot of work.

There is no textbook assigned for 25a. Instead, I will give numerous exercises and also indicate references of books that you can consult in the library.
