Folks,

There are a few mistakes in the Introduction to Statistical Decision Theory text.

For the instructions for problems 8-10 of the homework, on page 165 of the sourcebook, the last statement should read:

l_1 > l_2 : l_1 is preferred to l_2

There are three mistakes in the problems 8-10 on the same page:

For problem 8, it most likely should read c_5 ~ {(.2:c_1),(.8:c_6)}.

For problem 9, the 4th line should read, "Consequences c_1, c_2, and c_4 are rather definite...."

For problem 10, line 6, c^3 should be replaced by c_3 (minor typo).

We think that's it.
