Working with Exponents Review

Summer School

And now it's off to exponential functions and their graphs!  If you haven't had time to catch up with me after the last midterm please catch up with me on Monday to find a time to do that.  Also please bring your laptop to class on Monday if you have one to do some exponential modeling in class.

There's a new homework assignment on our newly found set of functions due in class on Monday (please check under the assignments page).  A number of people have brought up some issues involving exponents with me - this would be a good time to go back and take a look at the section at the end of chapter 3 in the textbook (Tools for Chapter 3 on page 151) to make sure that you're comfortable with exponentiation.

Afternoon review/problem session times: Barusch's afternoon sessions are held in room 221 in the Science Center (or if the class isn't there, you should check up in the regular classroom in 309a). Monday and Wednesday's sessions meet 2 to 3pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 12 to 1pm.
