Supplement to Problem 17 from Chapter 1: Here's something to think
about (an exploratory problem)

Suppose four people want to split a pie evenly; each get 1/4 of the pie.
If six people want to split the same pie, each gets 1/6. There is
a relationship between the number of people splitting the pie and the size
of the pieces. Is this a "directly proportional" relationship?
Try to describe your reasoning in words. If it is not a relationship
of direct proportionality, can you think of a mathematical way to describe
the relationship (see pg. 9 in the notes).
