Problems for Math Xa Gateway 2

The second gateway will test your knowledge of limits, the definition of the derivative, the algebraic manipulations used to calculate a derivative and the relationship between the graph of a function and the behavior of the derivative of the function.

The gateway test will have eight questions on it. These questions are divided into eight categories (see table below).

The first time that the gateway will be given will be during lab on Thursday November 14.
Each test will feature eight questions. A passing grade is seven or eight perfectly correct.
Each test will feature one question from each of the eight categories shown in the table below.
If you don't pass the test on the first attempt, you will be able to retake the test from Xa lab leaders through the Math Question Center or from section leaders during office hours.
