FINAL EXAM:
The final exam in Math Xb will be given:
- On Tuesday May 20
- From 9:15am to 12:15pm
- In Sever 113.
As with the midterms, you will be allowed to use your
calculator and one standard-sized (8.5 by 11 inch)
sheet of notes.
There will be two course wide review sessions for the
final exam. These will be given:
- On Monday May 12 from 7-9pm in Science Center
C.
- On Tuesday May 13 from 7-9pm in Science Center
C.
The two review sessions will concentrate on different topics
in the course--the material featured in Monday's review will
not be repeated in Tuesday's.
Further information about the exam and review problems
can be accessed by clicking HERE.
LABS:
The last lab that you have to complete is the lab on the
optimal firing angle of a projectile weapon. This lab is due
on Tuesday April 29.
The labs on Tuesday April 29 and Thursday May 1
are both optional gateway make-ups. If you have
already passed all of the gateway tests and have already
turned in your projectile lab, then you do not need to attend
lab during the last week.
GATEWAY TESTS:
Remember that to avoid the grade
penalty, you must have passed all three of the gateway
tests by 5pm on Friday March 2.
The labs on Tuesday April 29 and Thursday May 1 will both be
devoted to gateway make-ups. You can also make up gateways
during any Xb TF's office hours, or when a Math Xb TF or CA
is on duty in the Math Question Center (8-10pm; Sunday,
Tuesday and Thursday; Loker Commons).
You can find practice problems (and answers) for:
- Gateway 1 by clicking HERE.
- Gateway 2 by clicking HERE.
- Gateway 3 by clicking HERE.
