The Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS)
was a Video Study which examined classroom teaching practices through
analysis of videotapes of eighth-grade mathematics lessons.
The TIMSS Video Study provides rich descriptions of mathematics
teaching as it is actually experienced by eighth-grade students in
seven countries.
