Welcome to Math 1b.
Speaking the language of modern mathematics requires fluency with the topics of this course: infinite series, integration, and differential equations. We will model practical situations using integrals and differential equations, learn to represent interesting functions using series, and find qualitiative and analytic ways of studying differential equations.

We use Stewart's Calculus: Concepts and Contexts, Brooks/Cole 2001. There will be supplementary material available on the web.
