Midterm questionnaire
Thanks to fill out the traditional midterm questionnaire! Looking over how many students use the problem sessions we see that this can still be used more. The MQC is frequented quite well sometimes reaching capacity. Here are a few comments:Comment on Exam:
- Slightly harder than the practice exams
- The kissing problem (problem 8) was a bit hard to understand
- A small mistake could ruin the possibility to solve the arc length problem.
Comments on Homework and Problem sessions
Most rate the homework is just ok. There were a handful who rate the homework as too hard. The short summary on the homework set is appreciated.To remarks here: we by purpose have harder homework problems, in order to encourage honing problem solving skills and also to encourage to make use of resources: homework, problem sessions, office hours, and MWC. As you noticed, homework problems can be much harder than the exam problems. The reason is simple: for an exam problem you have 10 minutes only.

Maybe about 25 percent use a textbook but most use it only rarely. The "internet" is a great help."What concept was the most difficult so far?
