Fall 2002 Home
|
We've just posted a list of practice problems from chapters 6 through 9 from the textbook on the exam review page - we'll be posting solutions to these practice problems later on during the weekend, so you can check back on Sunday for those. Note, too, we will not include any questions from the chapter 10 handout on the final - the final will just cover the textbook chapters. To study for the final you should read through your notes and the textbook and make an outline of all the linear algebra we covered during the fall. Next, you should systematically work through as many practice problems as possible, including your old homework problems, problems from the first two midterms, and practice problems from old final exams which we have posted below. Make sure you learn as you go, however, don't just try to review the class by doing problems alone, as you're not likely to see exactly the same problem twice! Note, different semesters of linear algebra cover the material in different ways, and there are some problems on each of the old exams which you shouldn't feel that you need to be able to answer (they're noted next to each old exam). Old finals for practice:
Coursewide review times and a list of topics covered on the final can be found in the Final Exam Review To read any PDF files that are posted, make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader URL: http://www.courses.fas.harvard.edu/~math21b/index.html
