Example "draw the tangent function in the style of Picasso". All the pictures in tie slides were marked with "AI generated". It is in my opinion pivotal to always declare, if AI is used, also in journalism, advertisement, medicine, engineering or in school, even in research. It should be central to any AI ethics. We live in a time, where a PhD thesis could in certain areas be written by a machine. The pictures show how "creative" large language models have become. This is for me still astounding. Large Language models explored in 2017 with the emergence of "transformers". Then came "diffusion" techniques which added to the mix of AI spring. |
