The final exam will be held on Monday January 13 at 9:15am. The exam will be given in Science Center Lecture Hall D.

On the final exam you will be allowed to use your calculator and one standard-sized page of notes, just as on the midterms. That's one page of notes (not two) so boil the content of the course down to the fundamentals when you are making your page of notes.

Course-wide review sessions for the final exam will be held at the following times and places:
  • Friday January 10 from 4-6pm in Science Center Lecture Hall E
  • Sunday January 12 from 3-5pm in Science Center Lecture Hall A.
NEW! Here are notes and examples on some of the most important concepts and techniques in the course. Click HERE for more information on the final exam, including TF office hours and practice problems.

Solutions to the Second Xa Exam are available. Click HERE to download a copy.

Solutions for the first Math Xa exam are also available. Click HERE to download a copy.

Note: The information and review problems for Midterms 1 and 2, and for Gateways 1, 2 and 3 have been moved to the ARCHIVE. To access these materials, click on the ARCHIVE button towards the bottom of the page.

Math Xa is the first course in a two semester sequence that combines precalculus, first semester calculus (mainly differential calculus and its applications) and some of the topics from second semester calculus. You can access the old (Spring 2002) web site for the follow-on course (Math Xb) by clicking here.
