Announcements for Math 23b:

The take-home portion of the final is now available and is due at noon on Monday, May 20. The in-class portion of the final will be in the afternoon (2:15-5:15 P.M.) on Thursday, May 23, in Harvard Hall 104.

The in-class midterm has been graded and was returned in class. The mean was 40.5 out of 50. The take-home was returned in class on Friday, and the mean was 15.3 out of 20.

Sections with the course assistants have begun. Everyone should attend at least one CA's section meeting, but everyone is also welcome to attend more than one, schedule permitting. For more details, see the Math 23b Sections page.

Announcements for Math 23a:

Final grades have been submitted to the registrar, and you may pick up your final exams in my office.

Our dedicated CA Jim Fowler has written up some work on the quaternions, the p-adics, and Zorn's lemma, and you can get the pages here.
